Fundraiser Bushwalk: Coast and Mountain Walkers of NSW
The Coast and Mountain Walkers of NSW will be running a 3-day walk in support of the GIVE A DAM campaign to areas that will be impacted by the raising of the dam in the southern Blue Mountains. It will run from the 5th-7th of October.
This walk will include: Kanangra Walls, Cottage Rock, Gingra Range to Second Ttop and down Hughes Ridge to Kowmung River. Camp upstream at open area. Middle day rest/relax or explore downstream. Out by Roots Ridge to Kanangra Walls.
DISTANCE: MEDIUM.
TRIP GRADE: MEDIUM (Reasonable level of fitness, agility and experience required. Many people who haven’t walked off-track before find these walks quite hard.)
MAPS: Yerranderie, Kanangra.
TRANSPORT: $58 paid to the trip organiser.
Please contact Wilson (details at the bottom of this page) if you would like to take part in this trip. We will be asking that participants on this walk make a donation of their choosing to GIVE A DAM, as these walks are part of a fundraising effort by bushwalking clubs to support the campaign.
PS- As a non-member partaking in a bushwalking clubs event, you will be required to follow that club's rules for visitors and/or prospective members.
